A buyer may buy a basket of goods and services at a store/marketplace, some of which are physical. The latter factor requires gathering and transportation services. A store/marketplace may be virtual, physical, or a combination of them. The goods and services may be produced by the seller and/or other parties.
There are several options available:
- A buyer comes and collects the basket on his own, both physically and virtually. On exit, they execute the order and pass control, based on weight, RF IDs and other means.
- A buyer prepares the basket virtually at home. The rest steps are the same.
- A buyer prepares the basket virtually at home and orders basket gathering service, as well. The transportation to the home is on his own. In case the arranged basket collection point is different from the warehouse, basket transportation service from a warehouse to the arranged basket collection point is a part of the order as well. At the arranged time slot the buyer arrive to the arranged basket collection point. They check the gathered basket, change some positions if needed, accept order delivery and pass control on exit. In case they miss the collection, they pay for basket gathering, transportation (if it was there) and decoupling services.
- A buyer prepares the basket virtually at home and orders basket gathering and transportation services, as well. At the arranged time slot the buyer receive the basket at the arranged address. They check the gathered basket, change some positions if needed, and accept order delivery. In case they miss the collection, they pay for basket gathering, transportation and decoupling services.
In the latter two cases, the physical store/marketplace may be just a demo one, i.e. not for buying, or pure virtual.
